A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ABOUT MIGIC FOUNDER
Syed Asadullah, son of late Ahmadullah was well known in the area of Mehboobganj and Unche gaon in Ayodhya, as “BDO Sahab”. A legendary educationalist and social reformer, he dedicated his life towards development and educational uplifting of poor children who could not afford to go to study at far away places.
He was born on 31st July, 1932 and was educated in Tanda & Lucknow. He did his M.A. in English and joined as a principal of Qaumi Inter College Tanda around 1954. He was latter selected as Block Development Officer and served in various government posts till 1990. He retired on 30th June, 1990 from Gauriganj Sultanpur (now in Amethi district).
After retirement he started Maulana Azad Inter college in Unchegaon, Mehboobganj. He worked hard to develop resources to make this school up to intermediate college. His school result was excellent and it was his desire to make it up to intermediate level with science subjects but the infrastructure required for science classes was inadequate and therefore, recognition for science classes in intermediate section could not be availed at that time.
He took his last breath on 14th January, 2014 after a brief illness. He is survived by a well settled family – wife Hameeda Kahatoon, Son Syed Naimullah & Dr. Syed Abdussalam, daughter Rafat and Son-in-law Syed Mohammad Ahmad, brothers Syed Amanullah, Syed Irfanullah, Syed Sibghadullah and Syed Rahmatullah.
It is a matter of pride and a real tribute to the founder of the school that most of the unfinished works started during his time were completed and 3 batches of intermediate classes with science have passed out from this college. The computer classes up to VIII class was started last year and it is proposed to get extended up to High School this year.
The financial position of the college is satisfactory and the school is famous for timely payment of salaries and other dues of its staff. The staff has become quite large in size and their salaries have significantly been increased. The college is now renovated at large scale and one special new computer hall has been built in this year for computer studies. Now there is no shortage of classrooms, laboratories and computer hall.
In the end, we are trying hard to fulfil the dream of the founder of the college and moving towards the goal of providing education to those poor girls who are not in a position to go to big towns to get higher education at affordable rate.
